Parts Psychology

Human nature is naturally multi-faceted, and we often experience internal conflict when different "parts" of us want different things. Parts Psychology is an evidence-based approach that views the mind as a system of these distinct inner parts, each with its own motivations and protective roles. Even challenging behaviours like procrastination, self-criticism, or anxiety are driven by parts of us trying to protect us from deeper vulnerabilities. In therapy, we work collaboratively to understand, harmonise, and heal these inner voices. By bringing curiosity and warmth to your entire internal system, you can resolve inner conflict, cultivate confidence, and move forward with a genuine sense of wholeness and self-acceptance.

Couples Therapy

Relationships thrive on connection, but over time, couples can find themselves caught in repetitive loops of miscommunication, frustration, or emotional distance. Couples therapy provides a collaborative, supportive space to explore these dynamics without blame. Together, we look beneath surface-level arguments to identify the underlying emotional needs and patterns driving the disconnect. By bringing curiosity and warmth to the relationship, we work to heal past hurts, rebuild trust, and develop practical communication tools. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, working through conflict, or simply wanting to deepen your bond, this process helps you cultivate a secure, resilient partnership based on mutual understanding and respect.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain process traumatic memories and distressing life experiences. When an individual experiences an overwhelming or stressful event, the brain can struggle to process the information normally, causing the memory to get stuck in its original, raw emotional form. EMDR uses structured protocols and bilateral stimulation, typically through guided side-to-side eye movements, to stimulate the brain's natural healing abilities. This process helps take the emotional sting out of old memories, allowing them to be safely stored without triggering intense anxiety, flashbacks, or distress in the present. By resolving these underlying blocks, EMDR helps you move forward with a renewed sense of emotional freedom, resilience, and calm.

Presentations, Roundtables, & Workshops

Sharing insights and opening collaborative dialogues are vital ways to foster growth within communities and professional teams. We offer tailored presentations, interactive roundtables, and structured workshops designed to bridge professional knowledge with practical, real-world application. These sessions provide engaging spaces to explore concepts like mental well-being, team dynamics, communication, and human behavior. Rather than delivering rigid lectures, the focus is on creating a warm, interactive environment where attendees can ask questions, share perspectives, and collaborate. Participants leave with a deeper understanding of the topics discussed, alongside actionable tools they can immediately implement in their personal or professional lives..

Media & Commentary

Engaging with media and contributing to public discussions is a meaningful way to make professional insights accessible and practical for a broader audience. I regularly provide commentary, write evidence-based articles, and share professional opinions on topics surrounding mental well-being, human behaviour, and relationship dynamics. By translating complex concepts into clear, engaging, and relatable content, these contributions aim to foster deeper awareness and reduce the stigma around personal growth. Whether through written features, expert quotes, or digital commentary, the goal is always to deliver grounded, thoughtful perspectives that spark meaningful conversation and support community well-being.

Board-Approved Supervision

Navigating professional development and meeting regulatory requirements requires a structured, supportive space. We provide Board-approved supervision in accordance with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) guidelines. These supervision sessions are designed to support registrars, provisional psychologists, and practicing clinicians in developing their core competencies, refining their clinical skills, and navigating ethical complexities.

The approach focuses on building a safe, collaborative relationship where you can reflect on your practice, conceptualise cases, and deepen your understanding of evidence-based modalities. Rather than a rigid monitoring process, supervision is approached as a warm, consultative partnership aimed at fostering your unique professional identity, ensuring ethical practice, and supporting your long-term well-being and confidence as a practitioner.

All of your parts are welcome, and they are welcome as they are.
